The breakfast was great-shoutout to the homemade muffins! We also enjoyed the quirky decor and the unique copper bath in the room. Exploring the nearby beach was a good surprise. It's the kind of spot you stumble upon and want to tell everyone about.
We had to come back to the hotel really late on our last night, and not having a key felt a bit awkward, knocking for Helen to let us in. But honestly, it just added to the charm of the place.

Well-kept and well presented hotel located so close to the centre, and a beach. Great food and alcoholic drinks. Generally great service with parking onsite. Extremely helpful staff, peaceful location in what was a working village on the dramatic East Yorkshire coast.

I loved the quirky decor and the breakfast was simply incredible, especially those delicious warm muffins! Lighting could be better in the room though.

The breakfast was great, especially those homemade muffins that are still warm from the oven-banana and chocolate one day and carrot and pecan the next. The room's quirky touches and spacious layout added character. The lovely bar and relaxation area were great for winding down after a long day.
The room could have been better lit. The bathroom was stylish but a wet room design caused the whole floor to flood during showers, and not having a shower option in some rooms can limit comfort. Plus, I experienced weak Wi-Fi signals, difficult to stay connected. Wooden floors meant squeaky noises, particularly when light sleepers needed to navigate the space.

We had a marvelous family stay! The spacious rooms were clean and charming, just perfect for our teenagers. Helen's warm hospitality stood out, and breakfast was a treat-those handmade muffins were a favorite all around! Plus, we adored how close it was to the beach!
In my wife's opinion, more entertainment options for families would be great.

The beach and Cleveland Way trail nearby were ideal for outdoor fun. Helen, our host. The bar area was perfect for winding down after a day of exploring. Definitely try those homemade muffins!
The only downside was the shower setup. It wasn't the easiest to use and could benefit from some upgrades.

Helen was super friendly. The superior twin room was spacious, and the breakfast was a treat, especially those homemade muffins! It's a bit tucked away in a less appealing housing estate, but the beach and walks nearby were perfect for us.
would recommend.

The warm welcome from the host made a lasting impression, and the homemade sweet rolls served with breakfast were an absolute delight. Though the quirky decor added charm, the room lighting left much to be desired was nice. The floor design in the bathroom resulted in minor flooding during showers, inconvenient. Despite these drawbacks, the serene atmosphere and comfortable accommodations make it a nice spot worth revisiting.
